Medical and psychological support
Medical and psychological support is an essential component of the rehabilitation of torture survivors, as well as social and legal support. Medical assessment and treatment, psychotherapy and counseling, individual or group therapy and physiotherapy all form part of the Rehabilitation services.
The IRCT is a network of rehabilitation centres around the world that provide some of these services and may be able to help you. To check if there is a centre close to you, please check our list of IRCT rehabilitation centres.
