Be part of the solution, by Ben Achtenberg

One of the three winners of the IRCT-sponsored competition to develop 30-second TV spots to be used in conjunction with the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture in 2009. This will be the first of several films dealing with the impact of torture, both on individuals and on societies which tolerate a culture of impunity. It is part of a larger project, the Refuge Media Project website which also offers a wide range of information and resources for torture survivors and for those who work with them.
