Current focus areas
The IRCT is an anti-torture organisation, and more specifically, one focused on rehabilitating the victims of torture to live as full a life as possible through holistic treatment.
To best serve the more than 140 torture rehabilitation centres from around the world that comprise our membership and the more than 100,000 yearly survivors they treat, we have focused our work on certain strategies thematic issues. In addition, these have changed over time to ensure that our work addresses the changing political and social climate around torture and constantly updated knowledge on rehabilitative methods.
