Remember the world’s torture victims in your testament

By remembering the IRCT in your will you ensure that the resources that you leave behind become the start of a new life for many of the world’s torture victims. As a humanitarian charity organization the IRCT is exempted from paying inheritance tax to the State. For that reason you can be assured that the entire amount of your bequest to the IRCT will be used to benefit the IRCT’s international work for physical, psychological and social rehabilitation of torture victims and contribute to creating a world without torture. Depending on the legislation in your country, the IRCT may be able to pay the inheritance tax of your heirs in such a way that they do not inherit less (as is the case for Danish citizens cf. “Betænk verdens torturofre i dit testamente” below).

Betænk verdens torturofre i dit testamente

Ved at tilgodese IRCT i dit testamente sikrer du at de ressourcer, du efterlader, bliver starten til et nyt liv for mange af verdens torturofre. Velgørende organisationer som IRCT betaler ikke bo- eller tillægsafgift. Derfor går al arv ubeskåret til IRCTs internationale arbejde for fysisk, psykisk og social rehabilitering af torturofre og bidrager til at skabe en verden uden tortur. Arveloven giver mulighed for på samme tid at begunstige IRCT og slægtninge, såsom søskende, kusiner/fætre, niecer/nevøer og andre i den højere afgiftsgruppe, uden at deres arv reduceres. Det sker ved at IRCT betaler arveafgiften for dem. Nærmere information kan fås ved henvendelse til IRCTs Donor Service.
